Pleasurewood Hills
Enjoy a fun-filled day out at East Anglia’s premier theme park Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft; it has something for the whole family.
Younger family members will have fun exploring the rides in the Kiddie Zone, which are perfect for children around 1m tall. They’ll love taking the controls of the Funky Flyers, Flying Elephants and Balloon Rays. They can even jump on their very own whale with a ride on Moby Dick or have fun galloping around the course on the Pleasurewood Ponies.
For the perfect introduction to the theme park world, make your way to the family-friendly rides. You’ll need a head for heights when you take a ride on Marble Madness with its twisting aerial track, while Waveswinger and Kiteflyer may leave you in a bit of a spin. See how good your aim is with the Rootin’ Tootin’ Target Trail – an interactive UV laser ride the whole family will love. You’ll even be able to enjoy the twists and turns of one of the park’s most iconic roller coasters which has been transformed into the Egg-Spress.
If you prefer a more extreme day out take your seat on the Jolly Roger, Fireball or Wipeout, the region’s largest roller coaster. You’ll be taken through some impressive loops and turns reaching speeds of around 50mph before it’s time to do it all again . . . backwards!
Take a break from the action and check out the fantastic sea lion or parrot shows. The loveable stars have been attracting audiences for many years with their amazing shows.
